Ben Silverman was in Honolulu for the Sony Open in Hawaii when an emergency alert was mistakenly sent, warning of a ballistic missile threat on Saturday morning.
He says he and his family were in a quiet area of the city and didn’t feel the panic that others felt, but adds he heard afterwards about the reaction to the false alarm in other parts of the city.
