Henry-Griffitts Introduces T12 Irons

The sole and leading edge of the new T12 irons from Henry-Griffitts are designed to provide traditional blade workability with a low centre of gravity to get the ball airborne quickly.
Combined with the upside-down “V”-shaped design, the T12s are designed for not only workability, but an increase in effective hitting area and forgiveness.
The face has been fly cut to ensure a flat face, which Henry-Griffitts machine-engraves the grooves to provide as much spin as possible within USGA guidelines.

Henry-Griffitts Partners With PSP

Henry-Griffitts is partnering with PSP (Pure Solid Perfect) to add PSP’s first game-improvement club, the “Little One” to its fitting cart.
“It’s a great training aid and now, our Henry-Griffitts certified teachers will be able to fit the product to that player’s exact specs. It’s a great combination,” said Randall Henry, president of Henry-Griffitts.
The head of the Little One is designed to be just large enough for a golf ball in order to help the golfer focus on a smaller impact area to improve consistency in ball-striking. The Little One has the length, loft and weight of a normal seven iron.
“This is an extraordinary opportunity for PSP Golf. Our visibility and acceptance among tour players and teaching pros has continued to grow, while consumers quickly understand The Little One is a simple, effective tool that will make their golf clubs perform at a higher level,” said PSP president/CEO Dan Bonomo.
Praxis Woods Are Adjustable

The new Praxis Fairway Wood Series from Henry-Griffitts has a thin, lightweight, hard Carpenter Custom 455 Stainless Steel face, that is a high-tensile strength material to provide a better weight-to-strength ratio, allowing for a thin, light face to be plasma welded to the 17-4 stainless steel body.
The combination of the welding technique and lighter face construction allows more weight to be located in the sole to lower the centre of gravity.
Enhancing the low centre of gravity is a brass sole insert that works with the launch angles of five available lofts of 15.5, 18.5, 21.5, 24.5 and 28.5 degrees.
Henry-Griffitts is also applying an adjustability factor with its ability to adjust lie angle and face angle.
The lie of the Praxis Fairway Wood Series is adjustable from three degrees up to three degrees flat and the face angle is adjustable from three degrees open to three degrees closed. The weight is adjustable depending on the shaft length and material. The woods carry a bulge of 14 degrees and roll of 12 degrees.

Henry-Griffitts Goes For An Easy Fit

Henry-Griffitts has introduced the HG Fitting System designed to be sleeker and more user-friendly by putting the necessary tools at the fingertips of certified teachers.
Made of high-strength aluminum, the new fitting system is 31.5 inches wide, 50 inches high and 18 inches deep and is made for portability.
It will fit through most doors and into the back of an SUV and can be easily attached to the back of a golf cart. Individual drawers safely and securely hold all clubheads for easy storage and transport.
“The goal is not to wow with bells and whistles, but to make the art of custom fitting easier, more convenient and better so more time is spent on the fitting rather than finding heads and shafts,” said company founder Randy Henry.
A fold-out design allows the system to convert from a compact, portable unit into a display centre. The system changes shape to reveal a variety of tool and equipment, including a desktop for note-taking and laptop integration.
Certified teachers can tailor the systems to meet the needs of their students by utilizing the plentiful tool storage compartments. The new display comes standard with more than 3,000 options, but has the capacity to hold up to 4,500.
Canadian Honoured By Henry-Griffitts

Steve Koncz of Golf Unlimited in Simcoe, Ont., has won the Randy Henry Award at Henry-Griffitts’ annual Super School in Coeur da Alene, Id.
The award is named after one of the company founders and given to a company certified teacher who carries out practices such as evaluating student’s equipment in lessons, always having the teacher’s cart and lie board available in lessons and using the golf club as well as the swing motion to improve a student’s ball flight.
“Henry-Griffitts has always promoted the idea that equipment affects motion,” said company co-founder Randy Henry. “Giving lessons without finding out how the equipment is complementing or hindering your student’s swing can be frustrating for all involved.
“Steve has demonstrated his firm belief in our unique philosophy and it was a pleasure to personally present this award to him” added Henry.
Koncz also earned Henry-Griffitts Professional Clubfitter status.
“These individuals must prove themselves worthy by completing a rigorous regiment of performance. We look at their time in service, their experience, their customer follow-up, their dedication to continuing their education in clubfitting and, of course their success in sales,” said Henry.
Summer Sizzle from Henry-Griffitts

Henry-Griffitts has introduced a new line of premium-priced, mill-faced Sizzle Wedges, with custom grinds that will be fit and customized similar to other elements of clubs to which the player is already fit.
“These are the best wedges we’ve ever created and the best I’ve ever played,” said Randy Henry, founder of Henry-Griffitts. “The wedge looks spectacular and the sizzle grooves will knock your socks off — it’s the ultimate in club customization.”
The Sizzle Wedges are developed based on a player’s preferred shots, most common shots and best shot. The premium customization is the Hobson Grind, in which a player’s club is fit for all aspects other than the grind.
A number of shots are then played with the clubs and an individualized grind is created based on the wear on the club and lie board markings.
Other features of the wedges include an improved sole design that creates playability from all types of lies.
A “fly-cut” machining process is used on the face area to ensure a perfect surface into which the grooves are machine engraved.
Henry-Griffitts Sizzle Wedges are made of 100 per cent stainless steel.

“The OS-1 is exceptionally forgiving, but gives the player the freedom to play all shots,” says Randy Henry, founder of Henry-Griffitts. “The sole has great playability and allows a wide variety of shots for all golfers, zero to high handicaps.”
The OS-1s also go through a fly-cut machining process to ensure a flat face and feature machine-engraved grooves and a soft stainless head.
