“What we did was we had our spring collection and then we designed a much smaller collection that was available for a little bit later ship date that was designed to merchandise back with whatever the pro shop or retailer might have left in the shop.
For example, we did a nice cyan blue colour or a plum colour and, if any of those colours happened to sell out, we introduced a nice turquoise colour, some golds and silvers in new styles that could basically fill in the gaps and allow (the shop) to re-merchandise a little bit to freshen it up.
We have two vests, the Triumph vest that coordinates with the Triumph cap. It was a nice ripstop fabric, very lightweight mesh lining in a wide range of colours that merchandise throughout the line.
We also had another vest and jacket that were in the same fabric, our Zing jacket and vest which, basically, could take a woman from work to the golf course. It had chunky zippers to look like jewelry, a really nice thermal to it and it almost looks like a suit jacket.
We had a sportier version, our Eclipse vest, that carried forward from last year. It was just a similar waffle fleece, but it had a little bit more sportier piping on it which was available in the three colours – a black, a white and the fuscia – which worked back into the line, as well.
We have some long sleeved pieces, as well. We have one piece called our long-sleeved Galaxy that is actually a very nice layering piece because it’s very lightweight, it’s long-sleeved, and it can be worn nicely under a sleeveless piece or all on its own.
We also did a heavier weight, long sleeved piece that’s called our Fusion that has a fleece backing to it. It’s very lightweight, but provides you with that warmth. For fall, it’s great when the mornings are still pretty cool.”
