Antigua has unveiled its Spring 2014 men’s Performance 72 collection.
“It’s bright and bold – really colourful,” said Ron McPherson, president and CEO of Antigua.
“Golf has always been a colorful business and this year just a little bit more intense. The consumer is really wearing bright colours right now and having fun with it. This line has vivid color, sophisticated styling and luxurious fabrics, truly a winning combination,” he said.
The Performance 72 collection includes 17 shirt models, 12 outerwear tops and seven hats – as well as proprietary Desert Dry and Desert Dry Xtra-Lite moisture management technology to wick away moisture.
“We were one of the first adopters of tech fabrics,” said McPherson. “We developed Desert Dry and Desert Dry Xtra-Lite, and we use them across our men’s and women’s products. Thy perform extremely well.”
Attention to details includes eliminating the sleeve cap, so that the garment allows golfers freedom of swing motion. Lightweight stretch material in the outerwear is used to keep golfers comfortable in a wide outside temperature range.
