The air quality index was high once again on Thursday morning in Calgary, where smoke from fires in the Pacific Northwest of the United States and in British Columbia is forcing high-risk people indoors. For more, click here.
The good news is that precipitation and rain could bring relief on the weekend.
Tiffany Gordon says the Cottonwood Golf and Country Club has experienced about five or six cancellations per day since it all began on Monday and adds that people who would normally walk are now taking golf carts due to the air quality.
