Five Canadians are in the top 25 at two women’s events going into the final day of competition.
On the Symetra Tour, the main development circuit for the LPGA Tour, Sara-Maude Juneau of Fossambault-sur-le-lac, Que., is three off the lead at the Island Resort Championship in Harris, Mich.
Juneau shot a one-under 71 on Saturday to move into a tie for sixth at one under. Two shots behind her in a tie for 10th was Samantha Richdale of Kelowna, B.C., while Hamilton’s Ashley Sholer was tied for 14th at two over and Maude-Aimee Leblanc was tied for 21st at three over

On the LPGA Tour, Hamilton’s Alena Sharp has fallen out of the lead she had after the first round of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Sharp is six shots behind leader Michelle Wie, who also won last week’s U.S. Women’s Open. After her 65 on Friday, Sharp was two over through 15 holes before play was called due to weather. She’s tied for 15th at four under for the tournament.

At the Web .com Tour’s United Leasing Championship in Newburgh, Ind., Adam Hadwin is tied for 14th at four under, seven shots off the lead, after a one-over 73 in Saturday’s third round.
