David Hearn goes into Friday’s second round at the Arnold Palmer Invitational three shots off the lead after firing a three-under 69 on Thursday at Bay Hill.
Hearn is tied for 18th after a day that included seven birdie sand four bogeys.

On the Web .com Tour, Ted Brown of Peterborough, Ont., shot a two-under 69 in the first round of the Chile Classic in Santiago, where he’s tied for 52nd, one shot ahead of Brad Fritsch, who is tied for 78th after his 70 on Thursday.
