Brad Fritsch took the term “moving day” literally on Saturday when he fired a third round, eight-under 63 at the John Deere Classic.
Fritsch’s bogey-free round moved him into a tie for 11th at 12-under, five shots behind leader Brian Harman.
David Hearn is tied for 62nd, after shooting his second consecutive 69 to leave him at two under for the tournament.

On the Web .com Tour, Justin Shin of Surrey, B.C., is tied for 18th at 10 under going into the final round of the Utah Championship after firing a four-under 67 in the third round. That left Shin nine shots off the lead.
Roger Sloan, who won last week’s Nova Scotia Open, bogeyed two of his last three holes to finish the third round with an even par 71 that left him at eight under and in a tie for 36th.

At the U.S. Senior Open, Rod Spittle shot a two-over 73 and is tied for 44th at nine over.

At the Ricoh Women’s British Open at Royal Birkdale, Hamilton’s Alena Sharp shot her second consecutive 76 and is at 10 over after Saturday’s play.
