Brad Fritsch of Manotick, Ont., followed up his Saturday 63 at the John Deere Classic with a two-under 69 to finish in a tie for 13th at 14 under on Sunday.
That’s Fritsch’s best finish this PGA Tour season since a tie for 10th at the Farmers Insurance Open in January.
David Hearn put up seven birdies on Sunday, but also had a triple bogey to finish with a four-under 67 that left him in a tie for 45th at eight under.

On the Web .com Tour, Justin Shin of Surrey, B.C., finished the Utah Championship in a tie for 29th after a final round, one over 72. Roger Sloan, who won last week’s Nova Scotia Open, was a shot back of Shin.

Rod Spittle finished the U.S. Senior Open in Edmonds, Okla., in a tie for 49th at 13 over after a final round, four-over 75.

Hamilton’s Alena also shot a final round 75 at the Ricoh Women’s British Open at Royal Birkdale, where she also finished at 13 over, good for a tie for 51st.
