Toronto’s Lucas Kim didn’t know he’d be in the field at the Price Cutter Championship until Monday morning before he and his father Scott jumped in the car and drove to Springfield, Mo.
This time around, it was the destination, not the journey that’s counted so far as Kim is tied for seventh at the Web.com Tour event along with Mackenzie Hughes of Dundas, Ont., as both shot five-under 67s.
They go into Friday’s second round five shots off the lead.
Adam Stanley has the story on the Kims’ journey here.
