Inbee Park completed the career Grand Slam, defined in women’s golf as four different major championships available during their careers. There are actually five majors now.
Park completed the Slam with her victory on Sunday at the Women’s British Open at Turnberry where tied for the lead on the 68th hole of the tournament, took the solo lead on the 70th and hung on for a three-shot victory, her seventh major title and 16th LPGA Tour win.
Brooke Henderson of Smiths Falls, Ont., had her best round of the tournament, an even par 72 to tie for 61st at 11 over, one better than Hamilton’s Alena Sharp, who finished with a 75.

Adam Hadwin tied for 21st at the Quicken Loans National in Gainesville, Va., where he shot a final round, even par 71 to finish at seven under.
Nick Taylor shot a 72 on Sunday to tie for 52nd at three under.

Stephen Ames earned his third top-10 of the season, a tie for seventh at the 3M Championship in Blaine, Mn., where he shot a final round, four-under 68 in Sunday to finish at 11 under, seven behind winner Kenny Perry.
Rod Spittle finished with a 69 to tie for 38th at five under.

At the PHC Classic in Milwaukee, Vancouver’s Jessica Wallace tied for 11th after finishing with a three-over 75 on Sunday, which left her at two over for the tournament.
Maude-Aimee Leblanc and Augusta James tied for 22nd.
