Toronto’s Rebecca Lee-Bentham had her best finish of the LPGA Tour season so far with a tie for 12th at the Marathon Classic in Sylvania, Ohio.
Lee-Bentham shot three of four rounds in the 60s, including a final round, three-under 68 which she opened with bogeys on three of her first six holes, with a birdie on two.
She turned things around with three consecutive birdies on eight, nine and 10 and added a couple of more on 12 and 13. She bogeyed 16 before getting it back with a birdie on 18 to finish nine under for the tournament, six behind winner Lydia Ko.

Nick Taylor of Abbotsford, B.C., also shot three rounds in the 60s on the Web .com Tour and he too finished with a three-under 68 on Sunday at the Albertsons Boise Open that was bogey free.
Taylor tied for 15th at 15 under, nine shots off the winning score.

At the British Open at Royal Liverpool, David Hearn shot his second consecutive one-under 71 to tie for 32nd at three under.
