A two-stage qualifying procedure for the RBC Canadian Open will begin with three regional qualifying competitions in British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec before the final qualifying event on Monday, July 22.
The RBC Canadian Open will be played 25-28 at Glen Abbey in Oakville, Ont.
The first regional qualifier will take place June 10 at Gorge Vale Golf Club in Victoria, followed by another at Greystone Golf Club in Milton, Ont., on July 2. The third regional qualifier will be held July 3 at Club de Golf d l’ile de Montréal in Montreal.
The final qualifier will be held July 22 at Heron Point Golf Links in Alberton, Ont.
Each of the three regional qualifiers will feature 18 holes of stroke play with the low competitor at each site receiving an exemption directly into the 2013 RBC Canadian Open field, provided a minimum of 100 competitors participate at each site.
Up to the next top 15 per cent of finishers at each event are eligible to compete at final qualifying.
The entry deadline for the British Columbia regional qualifier at Gorge Vale is Monday, June 3, while all entries for the Ontario regional qualifier are due Tuesday, June 25.
The entry deadline for the Quebec regional qualifier at Club de golf de l’ile in Montreal is Wednesday, June 26.
A total of 24 exemptions, including the seven awarded through regional and Monday qualifiers are available for the Canadian Open at Glen Abbey.
