Two days after Canadians Chris Baryla and Matt McQuillan earned their PGA Tour cards at Q-school, two Canadians will kick off proceedings Wednesday morning at LPGA Tour qualifying school as Angela Buzminski of Oshawa, Ont., has a 9 a.m. start on the first tee of the Champions Course at LPGA International near Daytona Beach, Fla.
On the 10th tee of the same course, Sue Kim of Langley, B.C., also has a 9 a.m. tee-off. Q-school will also be played on LPGA International’s Legends Course.
Kim and Buzminski are among 10 Canadians who are part of the 120-player field in the five-round event. The field will be cut to low 70 and ties after 72 holes.
The top 20 at the end of Q-school will receive their cards.
