PGA Tour Canada will hold three 72-hole qualifying tournaments next spring.
Fields with a maximum of 132 players are expected at venues in the southeastern and southwestern United States in April and at a Canadian site in May. The exact dates, venues and entry fees for each qualifying tournament have yet to be announced.
The top 18 players at each site will earn exempt status for 2014, with players finishing 19th through 40th plus ties earning conditional status.
“By having three qualifying tournament sites next spring, a tremendous number of players from around the world will have the opportunity to try and earn status for PGA Tout Canada in 2014,” said tour president Jeff Monday.
“We look forward to seeing the next generation of players to make an impact on this tour and beyond to the next level,” he added.
