Credit Valley Golf and Country Club in Mississauga, Ont., will host the Mr. Lube PGA Seniors’ Championship of Canada, Aug. 11-14.
“The PGA of Canada is very excited about holding another national championship at the outstanding Credit Valley Golf and Country Club,” said PGA of Canada president Constant Priondolo.
“Credit Valley has long supported both the PGA member and the association’s national championships,” said Priondolo.
Steve Stricker won the PGA Championship of Canada when Credit Valley, a Robbie Robinson design, hosted in 1993, while Hannah Jun captured the 2008 PGA Women’s Championship there.
“On behalf of the Credit Valley Golf and Country Club, I am pleased to say how excited we are to host this year’s PGA Seniors’ Championship of Canada,” said Credit Valley executive professional and chief operating officer Ian Webb.
“Our golf course will be a spectacular test for the players with its tight tree-lined fairways as well as large, fast, undulating greens,” he added.
“I know that our members and our employees are very excited to have an opportunity to once again showcase our facility to some of the best players in the world,” said Webb.
