North Halton To Host PGA Of Canada Women’s Event

The Club at North Halton in Georgetown, Ont., will host the 2013 PGA Women’s Championship of Canada July 2-4.

“The Club at North Halton is a true shotmaker’s course. Players will enjoy being able to work their shots and the chance to use every club in their bag,” said head professional Marc Bezaire.

Founded as a club in 1954, North Halton’s history goes back to 1915 when PGA of Canada professional George Cumming was hired to design a nine-hole course called Cedar Crest.

Bob and Dave Moote completed an expansion to its current 18-hole routing in the 1960s.
