Newmark Golf Group has announced that Scott Masse has been named the general manager of Sagebrush in Merritt, B.C.
With the support of Troon Golf, which manages Sagebrush, Masse will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of Sagebrush and be accountable for motivating its staff to be exceptional, dedicated and passionate about guest satisfaction and achieving identified company goals.

“Scott has a proven track record in the golf and hospitality industry with a specific focus in corporate entertaining and is known as a leading edge thinker who is passionate about people,” he added.
“Scott is also someone who is widely known for building great relationships with guests, team members and business partners which is a trait that will be crucial for the success of our overall vision for Sagebrush,” said Cronl.
Although having recently worked away from the hospitality industry for a few years, Masse spent 13 years in various leadership roles at Westwood Plateau Golf and Entertainment.
Prior to his departure from Westwood Plateau, Scott was the general manager and responsible for all aspects of the golf, food and beverage and entertainment businesses leading 275 employees in two facilities.
