LPGA Tour players Brooke Henderson, Alena Sharp, Maude-Aimee Leblanc and Jennifer Ha will be joined by not only other tour players, but a strong contingent of fellow Canadians at next week’s CP Women’s Open at Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club.
Symetra Tour players Augusta James, Anne-Catherine Tanguay, Samantha Richdale and Brittany Marchand, who won the PHC Classic in Milwaukee just over a week ago, will also be in the field as will Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member Lorie Kane.
All four members of Golf Canada’s national amateur team will be competing, including Ottawa’s Grace St. Germain, Jaclyn Lee of Calgary, Naomi Ko of Victoria and dual citizen Maddie Szeryk of London, Ont.
On Monday, an 18-hole stroke play qualifier will take place at Camelot Golf and Country Club in Ottawa to determine the final four exemptions directly into the CP Women’s Open.
