Brady Schnell, the 54-hole leader at PGA Tour qualifying school in Beaumont, Calif., was one of the players left on the golf course after a fog delay of more than an hour-and-a-half forced the final round to be called due to darkness at 7:20 p.m.
Play was set to resume Saturday morning at 7 a.m.
After the third round, Schnell was at 13 under, three up on Eric Barnes and Trevor Murphy.
One player making a move was Andre Metzgers who was at five over and tied for 93rd before rounds of 64 and 70 pushed him to five under and into a tie for 10th, two shots clear of the number for exempt cards.
