For the second consecutive day, competitors at the Grey Goose World Par 3 Championship played through windy conditions at the Turtle Hill Golf Club in Southampton, Bermuda, where Dave Levesque emerged as top Canadian.
Levesque, who began the day in a tie for first, tied for sixth with a two-day total of 111 (51-60), four behind winner Mark Mouland of Wales.
“It was survival out there today,” said Mouland. “With the wind gusting, you become indecisive on the tee. You don’t know if it’s (the wind) into you, right to left, left to right. You’ve got three different clubs in your hand and it’s really guesswork.”
