The R&A and United States Golf Association announced the publication of the 2016 edition of the Rules of Golf that come into effect on Jan. 1.
Among the more significant changes are the withdrawal of a rule on a ball moving after address, a limited exception to the disqualification penalty for the submission of an incorrect score card, a modification of the penalty for a single use of an artificial devices or equipment and the controversial prohibition on anchoring a club.
