Brooke Henderson, who started the third round of the McKayson New Zealand Women’s Open five shots back, has climbed to within one of leader Belen Mozo with one to go in Auckland.
Henderson fired a bogey-free, five-under 67, including back-to-back birdies on the 14th and 15th holes, to push her to 14 under after the third round.
Henderson wasn’t the only Canadian to put up an impressive number as Alena Sharp finished the day with just one bogey on her way to a 66.
Sharp, who made the cut on the number, moved up the leaderboard into a tie for 31st at five under over the first three rounds.
