David Hearn went into the Honda Classic after missing three cuts in his previous four events, but he turned things around in a big way, tying for sixth at PGA National.
Hearn had five birdies and one bogey on the front nine to make the turn at four under. On the back nine, he had two bogeys against one birdie to finish with a three-under 67.
At six under for the tournament, Hearn was just two behind eventual winner Russell Henry, who defeated Rory McIlroy, Russell Knox and Ryan Palmer in a playoff.
