The dilemma facing golf, should the game be eligible for new federal recreation infrastructure funding, is who should receive those funds?
Some might say it should be municipal courses that appeal to the masses through lower green fees, but don’t contribute to government programs through taxes the way that privately-run facilities do. Still others might say that such for-profit courses are privately-run businesses and should fend for themselves.
GolfNewsNow wants your opinion on this subject through a new GNN Poll on our homepage.
In the last poll, which is still available in our Poll Archive section, the majority of GNN readers felt the weather would have more of an influence on their businesses than the economy in the early part of this season.
The weather accounted for 69 per cent of the votes, with the economy drawing 31 per cent of the votes.
Readers can still have their say on polls in the archive section. Be sure to check out past polls and make your votes.
