Brad Fritsch has announced on Twitter that he won’t be playing this week’s Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship in the Dominican Republic.
Fritsch pulled out of the Rex Hospital Open in Raleigh, N.C., three weeks ago and also missed the BMW Charity Pro-Am in Greer, S.C., due to sesamoiditis, which affects the long bone connected to the big toe and can affect bones, tendons or surrounding tissue.
“No @WebDotComTour event for me this week. Will seek out yet another opinion on my foot. Gets better, gets worse, rinse, repeat. Frustrating,” wrote Fritsch.
Frisch has a playoff win and a T2 finish in the six complete Web.com Tour events he’s played this year and is third on the money list. The top 25 at the end of the season graduate to the PGA Tour.
