The first of four Mackenzie Tour-PGA Tour Canada qualifying schools begins Tuesday at the Reunion Resort and Spa near Orlando.
The field will consist of 132 players, including 10 Canadians. The first-place finisher will receive exempt status, while second through 16th (no ties) will be exempt through the tour’s first reshuffle. The 17th through 40th finishers, including ties, will receive conditional status.
Last season’s winner at Florida Q-school was Toronto’s Albin Choi, who went on to win the Bayview Place Island Savings Open in Victoria.
