Ontario’s Ken Tarling goes into the final round of the European Senior Tour finals in Portugal just three shots off the lead.
Tarling, the defending champion, shot a two-under 69 in Wednesday’s third round, a score that might have been lower if not for a double bogey on the par three fifth hole to go along with four birdies.
Tarling is currently tied for fifth at two under, with the top five on the final leaderboard earning European Senior Tour full status this year. In the case of a tie for the fifth spot, there would be a playoff.
Ontario’s Keir Smith missed the cut.
