Dream Shot Golf will select 35 golf courses led by Canadian PGA professionals to become exclusive carriers of the Dream Shot hole-in-one program that is designed to attract golfers and tournaments.
It’s part of a two-year agreement between Dream Shot Golf, a marketing system offered through select golf operators around the world, and the Canadian PGA.
“Our mission is to provide operators with new revenue streams and marketing programs that are fun and exciting for customers. We look forward to input from the Canadian PGA to help us give the maximum value to their members and clients,” said Chris Hood, vice president of business development for Dream Shot Golf.
The Canadian PGA course operators will select one of their par three holes of at least 150 yards. Dream Shot will supply all promotional material as well as a “hole concierge,” who maintains the appearance of the tee box, greets customers and explains the program.
Participants pay a designated amount at the tee to take part and also receive an instant win card that is designed to drive traffic to the pro shop or food and beverage facilities. There are also instant prizes and draws to go along with the grand hole in one prize for a $10,000 package, including an trip to the $10-Million Shootout.
“The Dream Shot hole-in-one program will offer Canadian PGA member-operated facilities with an invaluable contemporary marketing program,” said Canadian PGA president Lindon Garron.
“This initiative can only increase round volume and revenue streams for Canadian PGA members and we are pleased to partner with such a proactive company.”
A portion of the revenue from the hole-in-one program will be donated to Prostate Cancer Canada, the charity of choice of the Canadian PGA.
