Corey Conners of Listowel, Ont., has been invited to play in the Puerto Rico Open, which will be played on the PGA Tour, March 5-8, opposite the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral.
“I am so pleased to have been given this opportunity in Puerto Rico,” said Conners, who will use the event as a tune-up for the Masters in April, in a release.
“I will be doing everything I can to justify it as well as extend my knowledge and experience,” he added.
Conners earned his Masters invitation after playing in the final of last year’s U.S. Amateur.
