Neither Brad Fritsch of Manotick, Ont., nor Roger Sloan of Merritt, B.C., will be returning to the PGA Tour as regulars next season.
Both were looking to make it into the top 25 on the Web .com Tour Finals money list, but wound up missing the cut at the season-ending Tour Championship in Ponte Vedra, Fla.
Fritsch went into the Tour Championship in 30th place on the Finals money list, while Sloan was tied for 90th.
Fritsch, who went into the Friday’s play after a three-over 73 got it back to even par with birdies on 17 and 18 on Friday, but bogeyed the 18th to finish with a two-under 68 that left him at one over for the tournament.
The cut was even par.
Sloan finished at two over after a 73 on Friday.
The leaderboard is here.
Man…I usually buckle up and stripe it when I'm on the last hole and on the cut line. But that was quick and terrible. So disappointed.
