Samantha Richdale of Kelowna became the second consecutive player from British Columbia to win Florida’s Natural Charity Classic in Lake Wales, Fla.
Sue Kim of Langley, B.C., won it last year before Richdale took her first Symetra Tour/Futures Tour victory since 2009 on Sunday.
Richdale, who was two shots back in a tie for third to begin the day, put up a bogey on the par three third hole, but came right back with a birdie on four, the first of five consecutive before she took another bogey on 15 to finish with a three-under 69 on the day and seven under for the tournament.
Toronto’s Rebecca Lee-Bentham moved from a tie for 10th at the beginning of the round to tie for fourth as she shot her second consecutive 69 on Sunday to finish at four under.
Lee-Bentham finished the day with seven birdies and four bogeys.
Augusta James of Bath, Ont., tied for 12th at even par.
