The Canadian team that will represent the host country at the World Junior Girls Championship Sept. 20-25 at the Marshes in Ottawa has been selected.
Grace St-Germain of Orleans, Ont., Hannah Lee of Surrey, B.C., and Vancouver’s Tiffany Kong will comprise one team at the event, where the host country is allowed to field two.
The other team will include Euna Han of Coquitlam, B.C., Alisha Lau and Kathrine Chan, both of Richmond, B.C.
“These six athletes have demonstrated some fantastic results throughout the season,” said Jeff Thompson, Golf Canada’s chief sport officer.
“The performances of Canada’s junior female athletes as a whole have been very strong this year, which made this selection process far from simple,” he added.
