Dr. Rick Jensen and Henry Brunton are bringing their Certified Golf Coach education and training program to Canada this fall, unveiling “The Shift to Modern Golf Coaching” over two days on September 15-16 at the National Golf Club of Canada in Woodbridge, Ont.
Jensen, a sports psychologist and coach from Florida, and Brunton, a former Canadian national men’s team coach, work together to provide training, education, business models, tools and resources to PGA/LPGA professionals.
The program at The National kicks off their 2014-2015 seminar schedule.
“Dr. Rick and I are excited to bring our Certified Golf Coaches Association training programs to Canada,” said Brunton.
“The goal of our seminars is to provide PGA and LPGA professionals with an enriched training and professional development opportunity and ongoing support so that they can be more effective, increase their income and advance their careers,” he added.
The interactive two-day training program is designed to provide golf instructors with practical strategies to accelerate student learning and enhance the transfer of skills to the course.
The program will feature a blend of indoor sessions and outdoor hands-on training.
The workshop is the foundational training for Certified Golf Coaches and attendees often continue with their ongoing education by taking other courses.
