Toronto’s Rosedale Golf Club is in need of a golf course superintendent.
The success candidate will be a motivated, knowledgeable, team player with strong communication, people and organizational skills.
Class A Certification and appropriate education.
Master Superintendent designation an asset.
Previous experience as a golf course superintendent.
Strong leadership skills with a team orientation and exceptional Human Resources management.
Must embrace a work culture that emphasizes both personal responsibility and accountability.
Must have a demonstrated ability to lead by example.
Provide a safe working environment with an emphasis on maintaining all regulatory requirements.
Advanced knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management.
Working knowledge of golf facilities construction principles and methods.
Knowledge of irrigation and drainage systems and water requirements.
A thorough understanding of the rules and strategies of the game of golf.
Knowledge of and good working relationship with regulatory bodies such as TRCA, MOE, Urban Forestry, etc.
Ability to mentor course staff.
Financial management of the operational and capital golf course budgets.
Commitment to provide outstanding service to the membership.
IPM accreditation,valid pesticide licence(s).
Renumeration is negotiable and based on the successful candidate’s experience.
