The Wascana Country Club in Regina is seeking a golf course superintendent, who will be responsible for achieving high standards in the operation and maintenance of the golf course and all common property of the club.
Reporting to the general manager/CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and managing the operations of the turf care centre.
The golf course superintendent will also hire, train and lead the team to be exceptional, dedicated and passionate about the Wascana experience, delivering a premier country club playing experience within clear and established financial and environmental parameters.
The successful candidate has a minimum five years experience in a similar role.
He or she is committed to leading edge thinking and is passionate about the continual improvement of themselves, of their team and of exceeding member expectations.
The course superintendent will be an effective communicator and adept at managing relationships with members, staff and suppliers and have a dedication to safety and the environment.
As a member of the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association, the successful candidate understands the benefits of golf as a game of a lifetime and the role as an ambassador for growing the game in the community.
