The Wascana Country Club in Regina has identified opportunities for immediate and future growth within its food and beverage department, including a key member of the senior management team.
The clubhouse/restaurants manager will be responsible for delivering a successful restaurant and lounge experience to members and guests.
This is a hands-on role, with responsibilities for the hiring, training and development of all restaurant service staff, liquor/product ordering and inventory and clubhouse maintenance and operations, including staging and cleanliness, all while maintaining a profitable food and beverage department.
The successful candidate will have a minimum three years experience in a similar role and be committed to leading edge thinking and continuous improvement.
The clubhouse/restaurants manager will be expected to create a healthy and rewarding environment for members, staff and suppliers and will manage revenue and payroll budgets and meet or exceed budgeted expectations while keeping food and service quality consistently high.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations and have computer skills. The person will have a flexible working schedule and recognize that long hours and weekends are occasionally required.
Preference will be given to those with experience at private or semi-private clubs. The compensation package, includes benefits.
