Business Golf International has established a Canadian office in Toronto and has named Gwen Sheridan managing director of BGI Canada and veteran Canadian PGA member Ken Trowbridge as a director.
Sheridan has more than 23 years of golf facility, operational management and corporate golf experience, while Trowbridge, who also served as a golf magazine columnist, has over 30 years of experience as a player and club professional within the Canadian PGA.
“Having both Gwen and Ken leading the BGI team in Canada, as well as their considerable contributions to our activities around the world, brings measurable and definable additional value to BGI,” said John W. Boykin, a member of the PGA of America and founder and chief executive officer of BGI.
With offices also in Atlanta and Manchester, England, BGI provides services and programs that address the challenges facing businesses and golf facilities.
The company provides avenues for corporate clients to use golf as a hospitality and marketing tool and offers golf facility operators programs such as operational assessments and facility management.
