The Royal Oaks Golf and Country Club in Moncton, N.B., is looking for a course superintendent who will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the course maintenance department.
Duties will include scheduling, training, motivating and managing a crew of 20 equipment operators, managing course maintenance budgets, maintaining adherence to the established turf maintenance plan and keeping course conditions at a high level.
Other duties include monitoring pesticide/fertilizer applications and record-keeping and assisting equipment, spray and irrigation technicians.
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary turfgrass education, experience as a superintendent, computer proficiency, excellent communication and organization skills, strong leadership abilities and initiative and attention to detail.
