In his first guest blog, Joe Murphy, general manager of the St. George’s Golf and Country Club in Toronto, talks about how his club’s membership got behind the bid to host next month’s RBC Canadian Open.
St. George’s has a long and colourful history that includes several Canadian Opens. GNN editor Ian Hutchinson chatted with longtime member Bert Burnside, who joined the club in 1951, recently about his memories of St. George’s and national championships that have been played there.
