The National Golf Course Owners Association Canada (NGCOA Canada) is seeking a regional director for its Central Ontario Chapter.
Possessing strong entrepreneurial and interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, well-organized with proven business acumen and relationship-building qualities.
This person will be adaptable to a varied work pace and able to prioritize and manage the workload. The successful candidate is willing to learn from and contribute to the NGCOA team and have experience related to the golf industry.
Association experience is an asset.
NGCOA Canada is a not-for-profit trade association, owned and governed by its membership of more than 1300 golf course operators, providing business support to Canadian golf course operators and related stakeholders.
Delivering the NGCOA Canada strategic plan within the Central Ontario Chapter, the Regional Director position reports to the NGCOA Canada Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and works in close consultation with the Chapter Advisory Board.
Execute membership marketing and renewal strategies.
Develop and execute regional member benefits.
Show management of the Play Golf Ontario Pavilion at the Toronto Golf & Travel Show.
Support execution of national programs.
Fiscal management of the Central Ontario Chapter’s operating budget and finances.
Government, media, allied associations and supplier relations.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel within the Greater Toronto Area and throughout Central, Northern and Western Ontario and occasionally beyond.
