The successful candidate will be a highly-experienced and motivated individual.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have several years of supervisory experience in a high expectation, private golf club environment and be a graduate of a recognized turf grass management program.
This is a senior full–time position.

Northview Needs Second Assistant
The Northview Turf Centre in Surrey, B.C., is in need of a second assistant superintendents.
Northview has a 36 hole championship public golf course consisting of two Arnold Palmer-designed courses, the Ridge and The Canal, which hold many corporate tournaments, requiring exceptional year-round playing conditions.
Turf diploma or equivalent.
Two to five years of turf grass experience.
Superior skills in everyday cutting.
Spraying and fertilization experience.
Excellent weed and disease identification.
Excellent plant knowledge and identification.
Arboriculture experience would be an asset.
Operation of all cutting units and heavy equipment.
Ability to train employees on all cutting units and heavy equipment.
Superior public relations skills.
Great organization and record-keeping.
Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel would be an asset.
Must be able to work weekends.
Maintain team moral and motivation.
Must obtain valid BC Pesticide Applicators licence. Responsibilities
Reporting to the golf course superintendent and assistant superintendent.
Training new employees.
Setting up night irrigation.
Supervising employees and job performance.
Communication with other department heads.
