Hathway Stewart, the new Canadian golf distributor of the iconic Jones Golf Bag and Golf Nutz health snacks has announced its national sales force for green grass and off-course golf channels.
“We are excited by the quality of the sales force that we’ve assembled—notably their experience, their networks and their passion for golf in Canada,” said David Stewart, president of Hathway Stewart.
Cyril Zupan will manage the Alberta and Prairies territory for Hathway Stewart. Zupan is coming out of retirement and returns to the golf industry after many years with Titleist and TaylorMade.
Most recently, Zupan has been assisting the PGA of Alberta with professional events throughout the province.
Jim Loftus manages the British Columbia market. Loftus owns and distributes the Canada Golf Card and the Tee-Off Book, botj discount programs that provide savings and discounts on green fees at more than 400 clubs in British Columbia and Alberta and more than 600 clubs across the country.
Earlier in his career, Loftus was an agent for Fletcher Golf and PING.
Mike Langley will manage the Southwestern Ontario market. Langley represents Critters golf covers, Essential Apparel (formerly Ash City) and Axglo pull carts.
Earlier in his career, Langley was an agent for Srixon, MacGregor and the Greg Norman Company.
Blehr MacKinley will manage the Atlantic market. MacKinley is a PGA of Canada assistant golf professional at Cabot Cliffs in Inverness, N;S. He is moving into the golf agency business this fall, with Hathway Stewart as one of his principals.
