The Fort William Country Club in Thunder Bay, Ont., is now accepting applications for an ambitious, progressive, career-orientated assistant golf course superintendent.
The applicant would join a positive, highly focused environment in the midst of a long-range course improvement plan.
A turfgrass management diploma or degree (or currently enrolled in one).
Three years of golf course maintenance experience (minimum).
Skilled in product application, fertilizers, foliar fertilizers and pesticides.
Background in golf course construction, surveying and drainage.
Excellent supervisory and training skills.
Valid driver’s licence.
Excel in leadership, communications and human relations.
Active golfer with an understanding of the rules of golf.
