The David Hearn Foundation Wine Label will be available for purchase starting on Saturday, May 14.
The wine label, launched in partnership between PGA Tour player David Hearn and Rockway Vineyards Golf Wine Dine, will donate a portion of proceeds from sales to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
The David Hearn Foundation Wine Label will feature a red wine – a 2013 Cabernet/Merlot blend – and a white wine, a 2015 Chardonnay/Riesling blend.
The wines will be available through Rockway’s retail store at 3290 Ninth Street in St Catharines, ON and online here for $17.95 Cdn. The wines will also be available at wholesale cost to restaurants and golf courses to carry the products.
“I am excited to officially launch the David Hearn Foundation Wine Label,” said Hearn.
“The team at Rockway and myself have been working on the label design and tasting notes for the past six months and we are extremely proud of the quality wines that have been produced. I am especially proud that a portion of proceeds from the wine sales will be donated to the Alzheimer Society of Canada,” he added.
Rockway’s vineyards are located in the Twenty Mile Bench sub-appellation, known for its mineral-rich soils and the winery features a diverse portfolio of wines under the care of winemaker David Stasiuk.
