The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association elected six members of its 10-member board of directors at its annual general meeting in Toronto last week.
They include president James Beebe of Priddis Greens in Priddis, Alta. (one-year term), vice president James Flett of Muskoka Lakes in Port Carling, Ont.
Also elected were Manitoba director Darren Kalyniuk of St. Boniface in Winnipeg (two-year term), Ontario director John McLinden of Ladies Golf Club of Toronto in Thornhill, Ont., Quebec director John Scott of Summerlea in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec and Atlantic director Kendall Costain of Westfield G&CC in Grand Bay–Westfield, N.B.
The position of immediate past president was assumed by Kyle Kellgren of the Jackfish Lodge Golf and Conference Centre in Cochin, Sask. (one-year term) and Kendall Costain was appointed to the position of secretary-treasurer.
Other members of the 2016 CGSA Board of Directors include British Columbia director Greg Austin, Alberta director Dustin Zdan, Medicine Hat G.C. in Medicine Hat and Saskatchewan director Pierre Vezeau of the Cooke Municipal Golf Course in Prince Albert, Sask.
