Vancouver’s Capilano Golf and Country Club is seeking a golf equipment technician to fill a vacancy in its fleet maintenance department.
The successful candidate will embrace all of the mechanical sub trades, including heavy duty, automotive, agricultural and small engine, person indentured as an apprentice.
Keeping cutting equipment sharp is another mechanical component of a golf course technician’s trade. Capilano’s precision cutting equipment cuts turf in increments of one thousandth of an inch. As a result, Capilano operates sophisticated machining equipment that keeps cutting units sharp and precisely aligned.
The fleet maintenance facility is state of the art and provides an ideal year-round working environment.
The successful candidate will be a talented, meticulous, mechanically-savvy individual, looking for full time year-round employment and likes a challenge.
