The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) in partnership with the Quebec Golf Superintendents Association (QGSA) will be hosting the 2018 Canadian Golf Course Management Conference (CGCMC), Feb. 26 to March 1 in Quebec City.
“The partnership with the QGSA will allow CGSA to bring its premiere event to Quebec,” said CGSA president Jim Flett.
“We are looking forward to the opportunities to network and learn alongside our industry colleagues in the unique surroundings that Quebec City offers,” he said.
The 2018 event returns to Quebec after 11 years. It will also continue the initiatives introduced in 2017, with a key focus on the business side of education programming. The main goal for the event will be to gather golf course management professionals from across Canada to learn, network and enjoy industry fellowship.
QGSA President, John Scott, AGS said, “We are pleased to be partnering with the national association to present this excellent education and networking opportunity showcasing our provincial capital. Quebec City has much to offer conference delegates, it’s truly a unique location within Canada,” said QGSA president John Scott.
The event will also feature a different look exposition, still allowing suppliers face to face time with key customers.
There will be opportunities for suppliers to be involved outside of a trade show, still investing in the CGSA aiding in the key areas of its operation – advocacy, environmental leadership and provincial relations.
More announcements are expected in the weeks to come.
