Pinebrook Golf and Country Club in Calgary is in need of an assistant superintendent.
The position requires a dedicated, career-minded person to help deliver the very best possible golf experience for the membership and guests.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate for agronomy and the game of golf, willing to work cohesively in a positive team environment, be professional in all aspects while representing Pinebrook, able to adjust and adapt to a dynamic work environment and has a strong work ethic and appreciates learning opportunities.
Learn and effectively use our new Toro Lynx irrigation software.
Application of turf fertilizers and turf protectants.
Maintain accurate fertilizer/chemical application records.
Complete cultural programs as directed.
Crew supervision for small projects, including alternate weekend schedule.
All assigned tasks to be completed in accordance to our safety plan and training procedures.
Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss/plan and implement team maintenance goals.
Minimum: Diploma in Turfgrass Management/or in the process of completing.
Valid Alberta Pesticide Applicators Licence/or in the process of completing.
Valid driver’s licence.
