Toulon Putters have launched through Callaway Golf with five new models.
The Austin, Columbus and Long Island are heel-toe weighted blades, while the Latrobe is a pure blade and the Indianapolis is a mallet.
Each head is milled from a solid block of soft 303 stainless steel, with the face alone taking 40 minutes.
The “contact patch” at the centre of the face incorporates crosshatch grooves that form a pattern on the face to strategically channel vibration to promote a satisfying sound and feel.
The head weight can be increased or reduced by installing the aluminum sole plate (total head weight 350 g), stainless steel sole plate (363 g), or tungsten sole plate (383g).
Toulon also offers the choice of two counterbalance weights. SuperStroke offers the option of installing a 25 g or 50 g counterbalance plug into the end of the grip.
Configuring the sole plate/counterbalance in different weight combinations create a variety of ways to customize the putter’s feel and fit it to your style of release, whether moderate or aggressive.
